Now Supporting Families in Greater Maryland!

Balanced Birth Support is proud to announce that we have expanded our services to include Greater Maryland! We are now supporting families with birth, postpartum doulas, and breastfeeding support, in Montgomery & Frederick Counties, Cities of Baltimore, Annapolis, and their surrounding areas, and the Eastern Shore!

We support births in all locations and situations including hospitals, birth centers, and at home! We support all types of birth including medicated and unmedicated, planned and unplanned c-sections, inductions, and high-risk. Our postpartum doulas can help with general household tasks, as well as baby and mama care. We support breastfeeding and bottle-feeding, and can assist with the challenges that can come with either method.

We are a group of compassionate, empathetic, professional, and non-jugemental birth workers who support you before, during, and after your birth. We can provide evidenced based information in answer to your questions and concerns so that you can make informed decisions. We are there if unexpected challenges arise and provide continuous care until you don’t need or want us with you anymore. Our postpartum doulas have additional education in breastfeeding and mental health.

Balanced Birth Support also teaches several different childbirth classes held at The Body in Balance Center in Alexandria, Virginia.  We offer a 5-week Hypno-birthing Series, One-Day Comprehensive Childbirth Class, and a 3-hour Comfort Measures for Childbirth.
