This 3-hour fun, interactive, hands-on comfort measures class will provide techniques to pregnant women and their partners to prepare them for their upcoming birth. The class is intended for families that are preparing for all kinds of birth; un-medicated, medicated, spontaneous, induction, home, hospital, birth center etc. This class is also ideal for second time families looking for a refresher birth course. You will leave feeling prepared and confident. Investment of the class includes 2 people, a workbook and handouts to use during labor.

This group course is offered to families who have taken a HypnoBirthing with a prior pregnancy OR for families who have taken another form of childbirth class and interested in HypnoBirthing skills only.
You will learn:
*techniques for deep relaxation to help you eliminate the Fear-Tension-Pain cycle
*to create your body’s own natural relaxant
*how you and your birthing companion can create a birthing environment that is calm, serene and joyful, rather than tense and stressful
*gentle birthing techniques that allow you to breathe your baby, letting the natural expulsive reflex guide the pushing phase *breathing techniques to aid in relaxation and calm
*guided visualizations and deepening techniques specific for the birthing process

This option is designed for those who do not want or feel they need an extra support person at their birth but would like support navigating through pregnancy and preparing for birth

*resource list of area providers including beneficial information applicable before, during and after birth
*access via text/email for questions/concerns before and after baby is born

2.5 hour class preparing you for the first 6 weeks after your baby is born. Class includes a resource list of area providers including suggested post partum doulas, a workbook containing all materials covered in class, handouts for easy access after baby is born, access via email for questions/concerns before and after baby is born (24-48 hour response time)

Virtual preparation regarding your options during your pregnancy and birth
You will receive:
*Via telephone we will discuss what your visions are for your birth, your options, terminology and their meanings (ex; IFM, AROM, vitamin K etc) specifically for your birth
*I will guide you through the process of starting and preparing your birth plan giving you tips and important information to include so that it is actually read and appreciated during your birth
*You will also receive example stock birth plans for your review that have been very well received among local Obstetricians and Midwives
*Email communication to answer questions and help with ongoing birth preference revisions
Cesarean Birth Preparation
Via telephone we will discuss what your visions are for your birth and options specific to your family and birthing location.
You will receive
*We will discuss with you the process of a cesarean birth
*How you can still remain calm and in control before, during after.
*We will discuss how to enjoy the immediate postpartum period.
*We will talk about what questions to ask your care provider before, during and after your baby’s birth and prepare a birth preference sheet together and
discuss newborn procedures.
