As April 1st approaches…
I have a fantastic sense of humor… But I cringe when I see the April Fools post about pregnancy and all the fake pregnancy test in my FB/twitter/IG feed.
Probably because I have experienced a loss personally and I have also looked at multiple pregnancy tests over and over and over waiting for “this to be the month” and feeling broken when it wasn’t.
But I have also held the hands of women losing their babies and talked at length with those that want so badly to see that plus sign…
I’ve also closely walked with families down the path of IVF and have witnessed with my own two eyes what families will sacrifice to have a baby.
I fiercely want to protect these families and others out there on the same path.
Please, I beg you, choose something else to “joke” about this April Fools.
