Kaylicia is an NBDA Birth and Postpartum Doula in the Northern Virginia region. She has always loved everything babies and birth. Her passion for this field was inspired during her time working as a Nursing Care Partner on the postpartum unit. The nursing staff took her under their wing where she witnessed all aspects of birth, from vaginal to cesarean birth. Being with families while their tiny humans enter the world, and assisting families in those very special first moments didn’t feel like work at all. She felt a sense of belonging.
Kaylicia has been a valuable and instrumental part of our team since early 2021. The families that she works with boast of her compassion, empathy and expertise.
