Rachell Williams
Rachell is a full-spectrum birth and postpartum doula, student midwife, lactation counselor, and experienced newborn-care provider dedicated to supporting families throughout pregnancy, birth, postpartum recovery, and life with a new baby.
Before beginning her formal doula training in 2017, Rachell worked as a nanny and infant–toddler teacher. She earned a 90-hour preschool teacher certification followed by a specialized 45-hour infant and toddler teacher certification.
Rachell continued advancing within the early-childhood field and eventually became the director of a center serving more than 70 children. This extensive experience gave her a strong foundation in infant development, family support, communication, and individualized care.
After her own children aged out of the childcare system, Rachell decided to pursue her longtime dream of working closely with expectant parents, mothers, infants, and growing families. She transitioned into full-time doula care, providing knowledgeable and compassionate support throughout birth and the postpartum period.
Rachell specializes in supporting premature infants, twins, and higher-order multiples. As a former EMT with training in the Neonatal Resuscitation Program (NRP), she brings a calm, capable presence to families navigating both routine newborn care and more complex transitions home.
As a postpartum doula and lactation counselor, Rachell assists families with newborn care, infant feeding, soothing techniques, establishing routines, postpartum recovery, and opportunities for restorative sleep. She combines practical support with education and reassurance, helping parents understand their baby’s cues and build confidence in their own abilities.
After years of supporting families through birth, Rachell is now completing her education and clinical experience toward becoming a Certified Professional Midwife (CPM) through the North American Registry of Midwives (NARM). As part of her training, she also works as a birth assistant at home births.
Rachell’s diverse background in emergency response, early-childhood education, newborn care, lactation, doula support, and student midwifery allows her to provide thoughtful, well-rounded care tailored to each family’s needs.
From pregnancy and birth through postpartum recovery and newborn care, Rachell provides steady, experienced support to help families feel informed, reassured, and genuinely cared for.
