- You will work with a group that is well recognized and received within the community and all local hospitals and care providers
- You will work with a group that will support you, encourage you and mentor you
- You can set your own schedule (um… that’s cool!)
- Balanced Birth Support does the marketing, client acquisition and tons of back end work that comes with running a thriving business… leaving you the ability to focus on your specialty!

- Commitment to being anti-racist and working towards equity in the birthing community
- Supportive and affirmative of LGBTQIA+ community
- Ability to work with all families regardless of how they envision their birth and/or postpartum
- A welcoming personality
- A cellular phone
- The ability to support all families without judgement
- Computer and internet access
- Completion and proof of a birth or postpartum doula training course or other relevant trainings for positions listed
- Ability to pass criminal background check
- Reliable transportation (relevant to the areas you will work)
