Birth Doula, Postpartum Doula

Caretaking has always been an important part of my journey. As the firstborn and oldest sister to four amazing siblings, I naturally developed a deep desire to care for others and support growing families.

To me, support means protecting space, sharing knowledge, appreciating each family’s individual experience, and honoring my responsibility within the community.

I am a Madriella-trained Birth and Postpartum Doula and Virginia State-Certified Doula with eight years of experience as an in-home caregiver and two years of professional birth-doula experience. I provide personalized, compassionate care shaped by the needs, values, and preferences of each family.

During labor, I help clients explore movement, positioning, breathing, relaxation, and hands-on comfort techniques. I offer a calm, steady presence while helping parents remain connected to their goals, understand their options, and feel supported as birth unfolds.

My care continues throughout the postpartum period. I combine traditional nurturing practices with practical, hands-on assistance to support postpartum recovery, newborn care, infant feeding, parental rest, and overall family wellness. My goal is to reduce overwhelm while helping parents build confidence in their own instincts and abilities.

I am also committed to supporting families with healthcare-resource navigation, sibling transitions, and bereavement care. I approach these vulnerable experiences with patience, sensitivity, and respect, recognizing that every family’s needs and circumstances are different.

My hope is to provide care that supports families not only through the present moment but also prepares them for the days, decisions, and transitions ahead.

It is an honor to help families feel informed, nurtured, respected, and connected to their community throughout birth and postpartum.
