Sada Farah

Postpartum Doula, Infant Care Specialist

My name is Sada, and I am a Certified Postpartum and Infant Care Doula through ProDoula. I provide compassionate, informed, and judgment-free support to families as they recover from birth, care for their newborns, and adjust to life during the fourth trimester.

Helping others has always been an important part of who I am. As the oldest of six children in a large family, I spent much of my life surrounded by babies and young children. These early experiences naturally shaped my nurturing personality and taught me the value of patience, adaptability, and dependable support.

Before entering birth work, I worked in the biotechnology industry with clinical-stage companies developing therapies for rare genetic diseases. That experience strengthened my respect for science, thoughtful communication, and evidence-based care. It also taught me the importance of approaching individuals and families with empathy during uncertain or challenging seasons.

My path toward doula work grew from the hands-on support I provided to friends and family members throughout pregnancy and postpartum. I was formally introduced to the role of a doula while expecting my first child, my daughter, and immediately recognized how meaningful this work could be.

In a beautifully unexpected turn, I completed my postpartum and infant-care doula certification during the same week I discovered I was pregnant with my second child.

Now, as the mother of two young children, I bring both professional training and firsthand experience to the families I support. I understand that the postpartum period can hold joy, exhaustion, healing, uncertainty, and tremendous change—all at the same time.

As a postpartum and infant-care doula, I support families with newborn care, infant feeding, soothing techniques, postpartum recovery, parental rest, and the transition into new family routines. I tailor my care to the needs of each household while helping parents understand their baby’s cues and build confidence in their own instincts.

My role is not to impose a particular parenting style or tell families what they should do. Instead, I provide reliable information, practical assistance, and a calm presence so parents can make choices that reflect their own values and goals.

It is a profound honor to support families through one of life’s most beautiful, transformative, and challenging seasons and to help parents feel cared for, capable, and never alone.
