A native to Florida I moved to the DC area at 16 to pursue a career in dance. And I did! For 9 years I lived out my first dream of dance performance and teaching. My passion shifted towards serving new families in their postpartum journey after I started having children myself. I believe wholeheartedly that the transition into parenting is one of the most vulnerable and overlooked times in a person's life. Having the right support can make all the difference and I have experienced first hand the value that education and support can add to a postpartum journey. Coming off of these transitions after my new babies, I began to notice my experience was different from others.

Prior to my own postpartum experiences I had mostly heard others speak negatively about this time. It was something you just had to “get through”. I wondered if I could change that. Could I enjoy my postpartum journey?
well…I did! My postpartum experiences went so smoothly. I 100% believe it is because I rallied people around me, gathered resources beforehand, and did everything I could to prepare, educate myself, and hold space for me and my feelings each day. I began to think- “holy moly-how can I provide this value to other families?”

So I took the leap, got certified through Childbirth International in 2021, and never looked back 🙂 My mission is to shed light on this time, help you find your perfect family rhythm, and usher in joy and confidence into your home.

As your postpartum doula, I am there to give unbiased and non-judgmental support, guidance, and information to help you find and be excited about your new family rhythm. Every family deserves to feel comfortable in their parenting abilities, and I'm here to help you do that!

No one parent will parent the same, and how lovely is that?
