Now, I am an expert at styling leggings for any season and comfort. I am a wife and mother.  I have two beautiful children (10 & 8).  During the pandemic, my husband had the great idea of becoming a firefighter, so now I have to check his schedule before I can schedule anything #firewifelife

I am not someone who knows current events, where hipsters are eating, or what stock is up or down, but one thing I do know about: parents and babies.  When you live the life of being a mom for 5 years straight, you kind of become an expert.  So once I realized that I had a wealth of knowledge, I decided it was about time to get this doula thing on the road.

My birth doula life has ebbed and flowed due to my childcare, but as soon as my kiddos can stay home alone without burning the house down, doula energy will flow more. I am certified as a postpartum doula, so I am able to remain in the presence of so many strong and beautiful families, just in the weeks and months after their babies arrive.

I’ve transitioned into the amazing privilege of capturing memories through photography and the beautiful moments of you all and your families. This is a gift that I treasure. So whatever it is that you envision, I am usually down to try to make it happen. Personally, if I am not sitting at my computer editing photos, you can guarantee I can be found at one of Cary’s finest thrift stores (with a coffee in my hand) OR working on a home reno project.
