Birth Doula, Postpartum Doula

At the heart of my work is a commitment to compassion, connection, and individualized care. For the past five years, I have served as an ally and guide to growing families throughout the Washington, DC, Maryland, and Northern Virginia area, providing person-centered, holistic support across the full reproductive spectrum.

My goal is to create an environment rooted in love, learning, and wellness—one that supports each individual family while contributing to a healthier, more connected community.

I came to this work through my own journey of growth and healing. While building my family, I experienced teen pregnancy, difficulty conceiving, and pregnancy loss. I also experienced the joy of healing from past trauma, having an empowered birth, breastfeeding, and using what I learned to support others.

I would never assume to know exactly what it feels like to walk in someone else’s shoes. Instead, I offer empathy, listen without judgment, and hold space for each client wherever they are in their experience.

Since discovering my calling in birth work, I have had the opportunity to train with several nationally recognized maternal and child-health organizations, including Mamatoto Village, Ancient Song Doula Services, and The Matrona. These experiences have strengthened my ability to provide informed, culturally responsive, and compassionate support throughout fertility, pregnancy, birth, postpartum, and loss.

I hold a Bachelor of Science in Behavior Rehabilitation from the University of Maryland Eastern Shore. Before entering birth work, I gained professional experience in both program development and operations within the nonprofit and education sectors. This background strengthened my skills in communication, organization, resource navigation, and community-centered service.

When I am not supporting families, I enjoy crafting herbal remedies and wellness products, practicing yoga, cooking, and spending time with my husband and children.

It is an honor to walk alongside families during life’s most vulnerable and transformative moments, offering care that helps each person feel seen, respected, informed, and supported.
