Birth Doula, Postpartum Doula, Newborn Care Specialist, Birth Assistant, Medical Assistant, and Neonatal Resuscitation Provider

One of the greatest gifts I have given myself was answering the call to become a doula. My journey began after witnessing the powerful birth of my grandson, M’Khai, who continues to be the light of my life. That experience transformed me and ignited a deep desire to support, uplift, and empower families throughout birth and the postpartum transition.

Since becoming a trained doula, I have had the honor of supporting more than 40 families through labor, birth, and the tender weeks following the arrival of a new baby.

Postpartum support has become the heartbeat of my practice. I am passionate about nurturing families during the earliest weeks after birth by providing hands-on newborn care, emotional support, practical assistance, and evidence-based guidance. Whether I am helping a parent establish breastfeeding or chestfeeding, get restorative sleep, recover from birth, or create a sustainable routine at home, I bring patience, presence, and genuine compassion into every space I enter.

Each family I have supported has shaped me in a meaningful way. I have walked beside new parents as they navigated physical recovery, changing identities, infant care, and the many emotions that accompany early parenthood. I have witnessed the extraordinary resilience that emerges when people feel seen, heard, respected, and supported.

I take pride in helping parents advocate for themselves, trust their instincts, and embrace their evolving roles with greater confidence, knowledge, and joy. My goal is never to take over, but to provide the reassurance and practical tools families need to discover what works best for them.

With experience supporting more than 40 birth and postpartum journeys, my dedication to this work continues to grow. My long-term goal is to become a Certified Professional Midwife (CPM) so I can expand my ability to serve families across the full spectrum of perinatal care.

I believe deeply in the power of community, the wisdom of the body, and the importance of gentle, culturally aware, and inclusive care. Every family deserves support that honors their individual values, identities, traditions, and choices.

Being a doula is more than my profession—it is my passion and my purpose. It is an honor to walk alongside families during some of their most meaningful moments, and I bring my full heart to every family I serve.
