Jaely Turner
It is deeply important to me that birthing people feel uplifted, heard, and affirmed in their experiences as they cross the life-changing threshold into parenthood.
My own experiences with pregnancy, prenatal care, birth, and postpartum sparked a deep fascination with the physiology of pregnancy and childbirth. They also made me passionate about bringing greater awareness to the often-unspoken physical and emotional realities of the postpartum period.
The isolation experienced by many families during the COVID-19 pandemic further strengthened my belief that birthing and newly postpartum parents need and deserve meaningful, consistent support.
I am passionate about helping birthing people connect with their intuition, trust their inner wisdom, and confidently advocate for themselves within a culture that can sometimes pull them away from their own instincts. I believe that accurate information, informed consent, thoughtful preparation, and genuine affirmation are essential throughout pregnancy, birth, and postpartum.
Through my own journey, I learned how profoundly different it feels to be seen, heard, supported, and informed rather than dismissed, judged, invalidated, or ignored. Pregnancy, birth, and postpartum are incredibly vulnerable and transformative experiences. Every person deserves to feel respected, encouraged, and supported throughout them.
I live in Centreville, Virginia, with my husband, our son, and three cats—including a Maine Coon. In addition to supporting growing families, I work as a professional classical singer and yoga instructor. When I am not working, I enjoy hiking, baking bread, reading, writing, knitting, and drinking coffee.
It is my privilege to hold space for birthing people and new parents as they navigate their individual journeys of mind, body, and spirit.
