Hi, I’m Sherise! I’m a birth and postpartum doula and a mom of two, and my own journey through motherhood led me to discover a passion for supporting parents and families throughout pregnancy, birth, postpartum, and life with a new baby.
I have experience working with expecting and postpartum families in a variety of roles, and those experiences have only deepened my love for maternal and infant care. I know firsthand that becoming a parent comes with so much joy and love—but also plenty of questions, opinions, late-night Google searches, and figuring things out as you go.
As a doula, I’m not here to tell you how you should give birth, feed your baby, parent, or live. My role is to provide compassionate, nonjudgmental support while helping you understand your options and make informed choices that feel right for you and your family.
I believe every family deserves to feel informed, respected, heard, and confident in their decisions—even when those decisions look different from someone else’s.
Whether I’m supporting you through pregnancy, preparing for birth, or helping your family adjust during the postpartum period, I strive to create a warm, comfortable, judgment-free space where you can ask questions, feel heard, and find confidence in your own instincts.
Outside of supporting families, I love spending time with my two kids, getting lost in a good book or movie, and learning something new. I’m naturally curious and always seem to find a new topic to dive into.
It is a privilege to be welcomed into such a personal and transformative time in a family’s life. I hope to be someone you can turn to for education, encouragement, practical support, and a listening ear as you welcome your baby and find your own rhythm as a family.
