Waliya Boriboonrat

Postpartum Doula, Newborn Care Specialist

My name is Waliya, and I am a certified postpartum doula and newborn care specialist with more than eight years of experience supporting families during the first weeks and months after birth.

I believe the newborn period is not only about caring for a baby. It is also about caring for the entire family as everyone recovers, adjusts, and grows into new roles.

Throughout my career, I have supported a wide range of families, including first-time and experienced parents, singletons, twins, and families with diverse feeding and parenting goals. I tailor my care to each household’s individual needs, preferences, and pace.

My support includes newborn care, breastfeeding and bottle-feeding guidance, gentle sleep support, soothing techniques, postpartum recovery assistance, and the development of practical daily routines. Whether I am rocking a baby overnight, helping a parent find time to rest, or offering reassurance during an uncertain moment, my goal is to help the entire family feel heard and cared for.

With a background in Early Childhood Development, I bring a deeper understanding of how babies grow, learn, and communicate from the very beginning. This knowledge helps me recognize infant cues and provide support that is thoughtful, practical, and developmentally appropriate.

I believe in creating calm, connected environments where babies and parents can thrive. Rather than imposing a one-size-fits-all routine, I help families identify their own rhythm and build gentle structure around what works for them.

As a newborn care specialist, I also have experience supporting families whose babies are experiencing common challenges such as reflux, colic, gassiness, feeding difficulties, and disrupted sleep. I offer nonmedical comfort strategies, practical observations, and informed guidance while encouraging families to connect with the appropriate healthcare or lactation professionals when additional evaluation is needed.

Postpartum recovery can bring physical changes, emotional adjustments, feeding questions, and significant sleep deprivation. I walk beside parents through these challenges with patience and without judgment, providing a steady presence when everything feels new or overwhelming.

What I love most about this work is watching families become more confident with each passing day. Every baby brings something new, and every household develops its own rhythm. It is a privilege to be welcomed into that space and to offer steady hands, a listening ear, and thoughtful support during such a meaningful time.

I am here to help make your early days with your baby feel more manageable, connected, and supported—while giving you the confidence to trust yourself as a parent.
