My skillset has flourished in the years I’ve spent in birthwork. Having supported over 200 families through pregnancy, labor and birth, and even hundreds more in postpartum, I have developed a strong Doula practice based here in metro Washington DC.
My competencies are built on the foundation of full spectrum experience of pregnancy, birth, and postpartum. I walk hand in hand with families through first, second, and third births as well as the many in-between variations of the experience of growing a family.
It is important to me to practice with a calm and clear mind, helping to build your confidence and awareness early on, helping you assert your autonomy confidently to be in charge of your experience. At the heart of my work as your doula are the values of trust, honesty, reliability and non-judgmental support.
There is no one right way to give birth. My role is to help you feel sure of what is right for you.
