I would describe myself as a dedicated and passionate birth and postpartum doula with a background in student midwifery and student nursing. With a calling in my heart from a young age, my journey began when I attended Washington Adventist University to study BS nursing in 2013. During my studies, I discovered a missionary school that offered a doula certificate program and Midwifery course, which sparked my interest and led me to pursue my true passion.

My commitment to my calling led me to complete the requirements for the childbirth educator certificate at a birthing center in Texas. Thereafter I embarked on a two-year internship at Nova Birth Center as a student midwife, where I gained invaluable experience attending over 300 births and working as a doula, postpartum doula, and birth assistant. It has been my experience in this line of work that it is such a special working with the family after the baby comes. These formative weeks are a treasure that I enjoy being a part of. As a postpartum doula, I dedicate my time and care to ensure parents and baby have every moment to bond in the most special way

Driven by my desire to make a difference in my home country, I returned to Peru where I volunteered at a hospital, dedicating the skills and knowledge I gained to helping families have a better birthing and postpartum experience. My belief in the power of caring for others with great love is at the core of my approach to doula work.

Currently, the goal is to complete my BSN degree to become a nurse midwife, further expanding my expertise and ability to provide comprehensive care to expectant families. With unwavering dedication and compassionate nature, I am committed to supporting and empowering families throughout their birthing journeys.
