The greatest gift I gave myself was embarking on the path to become a doula—a journey that began two years ago after witnessing the powerful birth of my grandson, MKhai, who continues to be the light of my life. That moment transformed me. It ignited a deep calling to support, uplift, and empower families through one of the most sacred and life-altering experiences: birth and postpartum.
Since becoming a trained doula, I’ve had the immense honor of supporting over 40 families, not only through labor and delivery but more deeply through the tender, transformative postpartum period. My work as a postpartum doula has become the heartbeat of my practice. I am passionate about nurturing families in the earliest weeks after birth, providing hands-on care, emotional support, and evidence-based guidance. Whether it’s helping a birthing person establish chest or breastfeeding, getting restorative rest, or creating a sustainable rhythm at home with a new baby, I bring presence, patience, and deep compassion to every home I enter.
Each family I’ve supported has shaped me in profound ways. I’ve walked beside new parents navigating the complexities of recovery, identity shifts, and infant care, and I’ve witnessed the extraordinary resilience that arises when people are seen, heard, and held. I take pride in helping clients become advocates for themselves, trust their instincts, and embrace their evolving roles with confidence and joy.
With well over 40 births and postpartum journeys behind me, my commitment to this work has only grown stronger. My goal is to become a Certified Professional Midwife (CPM), expanding my capacity to serve families across the full spectrum of perinatal care. I believe deeply in the power of community, the wisdom of the body, and the necessity of gentle, culturally aware, and inclusive support.
Being a doula is not just my profession—it’s my passion and my purpose. I am honored to walk alongside each family, and I bring my full heart to every moment we share.
